Design sandbox

Every surface below renders the real components against fixtures. There is no database here and no database driver installed, so nothing on this host can read or change platform data — which is what makes it safe to try things.

Each surface has three fixture shapes. Empty is what a new client sees, typical is the ordinary case, and stress holds the long strings, failure states and row counts that layouts actually break on. A design is not finished until it has been looked at in all three, at phone width as well as desktop.
Social
Queue by state, the write-a-post form, connected accounts. The module we just counted against social.greenmor.io.
  • src/lib/server/ — the modules that talk to Postgres.
  • The pg driver, absent from package.json. The isolation is structural, not a promise.
  • Authentication, sessions and RBAC. Every page renders as if signed in.
  • /brand.css as a route. It is a static file here, so the four whitelabel dials are edited in static/brand.css.
  • The workers. Nothing is scheduled, sent, published or synced.

A page here is a verbatim copy of the app’s, fed by a fixture loader instead of a database one. That is what lets a settled design go back by copying the component across — and why the copies should not be allowed to drift.
